Iot-Based Advanced HealthMonitoring System Using Cloud Platform
(2024) p.125-138- Abstract
The Internet of Things (IoT) is a new and rapidly evolving technology in which everything (smart items and smart gadgets) is linked to the internet to allow for efficient communication between these interconnected devices. The Internet of Things is a stimulant for healthcare and plays a critical role in a broad variety of healthcare-monitoring applications. Networked sensor devices, whether worn on the body or implanted in living situations, enable the collection of rich information to assess the patient’s overall health state by collecting body temperature, blood pressure, sugar level, and so on. The difficult challenge with the Internet of Things is communicating this acquired information to the doctor, making appropriate decisions... (More)
The Internet of Things (IoT) is a new and rapidly evolving technology in which everything (smart items and smart gadgets) is linked to the internet to allow for efficient communication between these interconnected devices. The difficult challenge with the Internet of Things is communicating this acquired information to the doctor, making appropriate decisions based on the data obtained, and alerting the patient. In this paper ESP8266 and GPS track the patient’s current location. We use ESP8266 WiFi Board as a processor where the collected data is sent to ESP8266 and transmit data over the Internet for analysis. This analyzed data is saved and may be utilized in a variety of ways. When a serious situation is recognized and the alarm system is triggered, the health data is immediately transferred to the doctor. ThingSpeak generates real-time visualizations of data sent by your devices. We can perform online monitoring and processing of data as it comes in using ThingSpeak.
