Global Health : Swedish perspectives on key debates, politics and practice

Abstract
Although Sweden has traditionally been one of the most significant donors in global health and development, it is barely mentioned in international scholarship on the history and politics of global health. The book addresses this gap by examining global health from Swedish perspectives, both historical and contemporary. By using Sweden as a case study, the book also traces and untangles the relationships between domestic norms and values, international engagement, and national identity.

Sverige har länge betraktats som ett av de viktigaste länderna inom global hälsa och utvecklingsbistånd. Trots det finns det knappt någon analys av detta inflytande i den internationella forskningen om historia och politik kring hälsa på det globala planet.
