Product life cycle design - a model of integrating environmental aspects into product design and development process at a Swedish industry: adaptive feedback approach
(2005) Fourth International Symposium on Environmentally Conscious Design and Inverse Manufacturing p.368-375- Abstract
- Many people have no doubts about the seriousness of environmental problems in the world. But the most important issue is to find the way in which these problems could be solved. Environmental problems are so complicated that it is not easy to find the right solution. It is important to change current `Western' and also growing `Eastern' consumption and production radically both from technological and from behavioural point of view. Therefore, this paper investigates how it is possible to influence the environmental impact of the products significantly and directly making them more sustainable for society through Product Life Cycle Design
