- Experimental data for through-drying of tissue at intensities comparable to industrial conditions arc presented. The study covers three basis weights, 20, 30 and 40 g/m(2), dried at drying air temperatures of 100, 150 and 200 degrees C. Unlike most experimental data on through-drying in the literature, the experiments in this study were performed under conditions of constant pressure drop across the sample, which is the way the process is operated in industry. The study covers a total of eighteen combinations of the variables basis weight, drying air temperature and pressure drop.
