Abstract
This guidebook offers practice‑oriented guidance for initiating, developing, and sustaining collaborative housing projects across Europe. Building on the EU‑funded CO‑HOPE (Collaborative Housing in a Pandemic Era) research project and its Urban Living Lab, it synthesizes insights from the planning processes of studied collaborative housing initiatives. Grounded in participatory workshops with residents, architects, process facilitators, housing developers, municipal representatives, and NGOs, it reflects practical, lived experience and tacit knowledge rather than purely theoretical models.
