- Abstract
- Based on material collected with sweep nets, malaise traps and through rearing, the knowledge of the Swedish Chalcidoidea fauna is enhanced by new data on taxa occurring here, including new information on the biology for some of the species. Males are reported for the first time for Aprostocetus tiliaceae, Pediobius tenuicornis and Mesopolobus lichtensteini. The Swedish records for Neotrichoporoides biogradensis Graham and N. viridimaculatus (Fullaway) are based on misidentified specimens, and these species should therefore be excluded from the Swedish list of chalcids. Further, we also mention and illustrate seven additional Eulophidae species which were recently reported new to Sweden in a separate publication. New host records include Didymomyia tiliacea (Bremi) (Diptera: Cecidomyiidae) for Mesopolobus lichtensteini. The species Erdoesia tessellata Boucek is also mentioned here because it has not yet been included in the official Swedish list of chalcids, even though a Swedish record has been published. (Less)
