Report on an ongoing research project: Craft specialization and prehistoric society
(1992) In Fornvännen 88. p.1-8- Abstract
- The ability to identify craft specialization in the archaeological record has wider ramifications for the study of prehistoric society, since it is apparent that there is a certain relationship between the organization of craft specialization and social complexity. The aim of the project is to determine if craft specialization was present in pre-Iron Age southern Scandinavian society and to describe how it was organized.
