Elastic double diffractive production of axialvector χ_{c} (1^{+ +}) mesons and the LandauYang theorem

We discuss exclusive elastic double diffractive axialvector χ_{c} (1^{+}) meson production in protonantiproton collisions at the Tevatron. The amplitude for the process is derived within the k_{t}factorization approach with unintegrated gluon distribution functions (UGDFs). We show that the famous LandauYang theorem is not applicable in the case of offshell gluons. Differential cross sections for different UGDFs are calculated. We compare exclusive production of χ_{c} (1^{+}) and χ_{c} (0^{+}).
