Abstract
An autobiographical article dealing with the author's identification with the Nobel prize winning author from Växjö, Pär Lagerkvist. Parallelles are focused on the novel Gäct hos verkligheten (1925), and especially on two these: the one of death anxiety, and the one of growing up, moving out, and going to the university.
