Pycnoconidial types in cetrarioid lichens.
(1995) In Cryptogamie. Bryologie, Lichenologie 16(4). p.247-256- Abstract
- The pycnoconidia in about 70 cetrarioid species have been investigated. Five main types are recognized: bacillariform, bifusiform, citriform, filiform and sublageniform pycnoconidia. The largest variation is found within the bifusiform and citriform types. The variation and presence of different types within cetrarioid lichens are described and discussed.
