Abstract
This paper highlights the importance of trust-based leadership and its essential role in human service organizations. Leadership shapes the direction of an organization and influences both its culture and outcomes. Its impact can determine whether a work environment is healthy or dysfunctional. Two key components of middle managers' leadership are trust and psychological safety. To delve deeper into the topic, the study employs a qualitative method that includes interviews with managers in human service organizations.
