- Syftet med denna studie är att jämföra klassisk sång och jazzsång, vad som karaktäriserar de båda sångsätten och vilka möjligheter som ges i ett parallellt musicerande inom båda genrerna. Kvalitativa intervjuer har genomförts med fyra sångpedagoger som alla har kunskaper om undervisning inom både jazzsång och klassisk sång samt erfarenheter av eget musicerande. Resultatet av intervjustudien visar att det finns många fördelar i ett parallellt musicerande inom jazzsång och klassisk sång men det kräver en öppenhet och nyfikenhet samt tid att hinna förkovra sig inom båda.
