Theoretical perspective: The paper has a theoretical framework consisting of theories within relationship marketing, uncertainty, social
interaction, IMP’s interaction model and two-way
communication.
Empirical foundation: The empirical material is presented through a citation
focused analysis. Screen shots from the observations are
used to strengthen the analysis and to complement the
interview material.
Conclusion: A conclusion that can be drawn from this paper is that
social media has made the relationship process less time
demanding for business-to-business companies. It is also
possible for companies to keep more relationships alive
and the relationships can also become more personal. The
term passive relations are introduced which describes
relationships that do not have any active transactions or
interactions. The findings and conclusions are presented as
a model. (Less) - Abstract (Swedish)

(Less)
