From Corporate Social Responsibility to Creating Shared Value. A Case Study from Tetra Pak in Sweden

Abstract
While more and more businesses incorporate sustainability in their core business strategy, there has recently been a shift from corporate social responsibility (CSR) to the notion of creating shared value (CSV). The thesis investigates this paradigm shift, aiming to understand the underlying dynamics and the impact CSV has on the company and its stakeholders. An analytical tool in form of a framework has been developed to analyse the creation of shared value along the internal as well as external value chain, to be applied to the case study of Tetra Pak in Sweden.
