Kollegialt lärande – musiklärares uppfattningar om kollegialitet och utvecklingsarbete

Denna studie handlar om musiklärares erfarenheter av och uppfattningar om kollegialt lärande. Studiens syfte är att förstå hur kollegialt lärande kan påverka individens arbetssituation, samt att undersöka vad som krävs hos individen för att det kollegiala lärandet ska fungera.
Studien bygger på kvalitativ forskning i form av semi-strukturerade intervjuer som har spelats in, transkriberats och analyserats. Informanterna är sex stycken musiklärare som undervisar på gymnasienivå.
Informanternas olika erfarenheter och uppfattningar visar att förutsättningar för och konsekvenserna av kollegialt lärande kan se väldigt olika ut, beroende på både yttre omständigheter och personliga förhållningssätt. Studien behandlar mänskligt känsloliv,... (More)
Denna studie handlar om musiklärares erfarenheter av och uppfattningar om kollegialt lärande. Studiens syfte är att förstå hur kollegialt lärande kan påverka individens arbetssituation, samt att undersöka vad som krävs hos individen för att det kollegiala lärandet ska fungera.
Studien bygger på kvalitativ forskning i form av semi-strukturerade intervjuer som har spelats in, transkriberats och analyserats. Informanterna är sex stycken musiklärare som undervisar på gymnasienivå.
Informanternas olika erfarenheter och uppfattningar visar att förutsättningar för och konsekvenserna av kollegialt lärande kan se väldigt olika ut, beroende på både yttre omständigheter och personliga förhållningssätt. Studien behandlar mänskligt känsloliv, kollegialitet och individuell yrkesetik i relation till kollegialt lärande. Studiens resultat redogör först för informanternas erfarenheter av och uppfattningar om kollegialt lärande – framför allt skillnaderna mellan informellt och formellt kollegialt lärande. Därefter ligger fokus på vad som krävs av individuella lärare för att det kollegiala lärandet ska fungera.
Studien betonar komplexiteten i både läraryrket och kollegialt lärande. Den understryker människors olikheter och implicerar hur dessa kan bemötas för att få till stånd ett lyckat kollegialt lärande. (Less)

This study is about music teachers' experiences and perceptions of collegial learning. The purpose of the study is to understand how collegial learning can affect the individual's work situation, as well as to study what is required of the individual for the collegial learning to work.
The study is based on qualitative research in the form of semi-structured interviews that have been recorded, transcribed and analyzed. The group of informants consists of six music teachers who teach at high school level.
The informants' different experiences and perceptions of collegial learning show that the conditions and consequences of collegial learning can look very different, depending on both external circumstances and personal approaches. The study deals with human emotional life, collegiality and individual professional ethics in relation to collegial learning. The first part of the result of the study describes the informants' experiences and perceptions of collegial learning – the differences between informal and formal collegial learning in particular. Thereafter, the focus is on what is required of individual teachers in order for collegial learning to work.
The study emphasizes the complexity of both the teaching profession and collegial learning; it accentuates people's differences and implies how these can be addressed to achieve successful collegial learning. (Less)
