- Abstract
- Eighteen years since the agricultural landscape of southern Öland were inscribed on the World Heritage list, this study aims to investigate the effect on the agriculture that created and are maintaining the World Heritage. Its relation to the tourism and the threats of climate change. Semi-structured interviews with farmers, destination developer and climate strategist were conducted to gain deeper knowledge. Results indicates the difficulty in communicate the complexity of a living world heritage.
