- Studiens syfte är att titta på de potentiella för- och nackdelarna med att använda flipped classroom som metod i gitarrundervisning. Vidare så ämnar den identifiera ett antal riktlinjer för hur videomaterial skulle kunna utformas för den här typen av gitarrundervisning. Studien består av fem intervjuer med tre gitarrlärare och två gitarrelever, med varierande erfarenheter av videor som verktyg för att lära sig gitarr. Studien visar att eleverna kan gagnas av att få se över lektionsmaterialet på förhand. Detta kan leda till mer elevcentrerade lektioner och minska stressen av att behöva lära sig nytt material på kort tid. Studien består av fem intervjuer med tre gitarrlärare och två gitarrelever, med varierande erfarenheter av videor som verktyg för att lära sig gitarr. Studien visar att eleverna kan gagnas av att få se över lektionsmaterialet på förhand. Detta kan leda till mer elevcentrerade lektioner och minska stressen av att behöva lära sig nytt material på kort tid. Studien visar även att lärarna redan använder videor i sin undervisning, vilket innebär att flipped classroom skulle kunna introduceras med endast små justeringar. Vidare visar studien att flipped classroom måste introduceras på rätt sätt för att studenterna ska förstå syftet och bli motiverade att titta på materialet. Videorna bör enligt resultaten hållas så korta som möjligt och endast behandla ett ämne per video. I studien uttrycker såväl lärare som elever en preferens för videor med multipla kameravinklar, men menar på att det inte är nödvändigt för att skapa adekvat material. Min slutsats är att utbildningssystemet måste hitta plattformar för att möta elever och studenter som växt upp med alltmer avancerad teknologi. (Less)

- The purpose of this is study is to look at the potential benefits and possible disadvantages of using the flipped classroom model in the context of guitar teaching. It also seeks to find guidelines for creating instructional videos for this form of pedagogy. The study consists of five interviews with three teachers and two students, with varying experience of using the video format as a tool for guitar tuition. The study indicates that the students could benefit from being able to review lesson material beforehand. This could allow for a more pupil centred guitar lesson and reduce the stress of having to learn new material quickly. Furthermore the study shows that care must be taken when introducing flipped classroom so that students understand the purpose and feel motivated to view the material. The study found that videos should be kept as short as possible and only cover one topic per video, and that while both teachers and students prefer the use of multiple camera angles, it is not necessary to create useful video material. My conclusion is that the education system must find platforms and tools to engage a generation of students brought up with advanced technology. (Less)
