Abstract (Swedish)
As the world population and the world economy continues increasing, theoverallconsumption in some parts of the world reach even more unsustainable proportions, which in turn leads to negative climate effects. To deal with this problem along with others, the concept circular economy has gained great importance. The aim of the circular economy is to minimize and prevent the upcoming of waste and to maintain materials and products in circulation. The aim of this study was to investigate the possibilities for the company GIAB to create a label within the circular economy. Interviews were made with company representatives, representatives at organizationsand a researcher. The most important results showed that there must be a demand and a need (from consumer, producers, businesses or purchasers) to create this kind of label. The scope of the label is what is decisive of what environmental aspects and criteria that should be involved, and that these must be set up by an independent third-party to be universally and trustworthy. The conclusion of the study is that there is a demand for a label within the circular economy. It is difficult to specify the aspects and criteria ofthe label. However, there is an interest of a label within circular economy at companies interviewed. (Less)

(More)

(Less)
