- Uppsatsen kartlägger anställningsskyddets förändringsprocess och ämnar synliggöra hur samhällsutveckling och normativa grundmönster påverkar rättsutvecklingen. Med hjälp av Christensens teori om rätten som normativa grundmönster i ett normativt fält och Hydéns teori om samhällsutveckling som S- kurvor tolkas, analyseras och diskuteras insamlat material. Genom att belysa relevanta utvecklingstendenser inom det politiska-, ekonomiska- och rättsliga systemet – beskrivs rörelser i det normativa fältet i relation till det omgivande samhället, vilket öppnar upp för en rättssociologisk prognostisering om normförskjutningens riktning.

Anställningsskyddet är en produkt av industrisamhället, vilket skapar friktion i takt med informationssamhällets framväxt.
