Abstract (Swedish)
Vidare
analyseras... (More)

(Less)
Abstract
Assistant nurses perceive their health as worse during Covid-19. The perception of one's health
can be affected by several factors where uncertainty, lack of recovery and lack of support are three
example. The purpose is to understand how assistant nurses in a region in Sweden experienced their health during
Covid-19. The aim of the purpose is thus to create an understanding of how the assistant nurse's workplace
can affect their health. The collected empirical data is based on semi-structured interviews such as
brought about 10 hours of material. Swedish assistant nurses in a region were examined through a
theoretical frame of reference covering the areas: recovery, requirements, control and

theoretical frame of reference covering the areas: recovery, requirements, control and
the support model, individuals in crisis as well as community and commitment in the workplace. Further
empiricism is analyzed using the theory and the conclusion how Covid-19 has had an impact on
how the assistant nurses in a region perceive their health. The majority of respondents believe that
the stressful everyday life in the workplace has made them feel more tired than before
Covid-19. It is possible to distinguish nuances in the respondents' answers where a perception of a changed
health was not as clear. The discussion clarifies that the study has contributed with unique results for
Swedish research where the importance of the community and how the uncertainty to a greater extent shows
be a factor in changing health. (Less)
