- This bachelor thesis was conducted by two students from Lunds University at ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems in Landskrona, a company that develops and produces automatic entrance doors. We focused on their High performance product which is a high-speed roll-up door. The background for the thesis was that ASSA ABLOY had acquired several companies in different parts of the world and therefore also had different frequency converters. The power range of the frequency converters was between 0.7-2.0 kW which they bought off-the-shelf. This led to a need to merge the different technologies into one frequency converter that could be used for all different doors in that range.
