- Bostäder i storstäder har blivit en svårtillgänglig lyxvara, samtidigt som ett fåtal tjänar mycket pengar på situationen. Som bostadsmarknaden ser ut idag, med vinstdrivande byggbolag tillsammans med dyr mark, går problemet inte att lösa utan förändring (Länsstyrelsen 2021). Detta examensarbete söker efter ett alternativt sätt att bo där de boende tillsammans tar kontroll över sin boendesituation. Utgångspunkten är att hitta en annan plats att bygga på än det traditionella och att bygga utan att involvera byggbolag. Detta examensarbete söker efter ett alternativt sätt att bo där de boende tillsammans tar kontroll över sin boendesituation. Utgångspunkten är att hitta en annan plats att bygga på än det traditionella och att bygga utan att involvera byggbolag. En bostadsmarknad utifrån byggemenskap på platta tak i Stockholms innerstad tar form: Delat På Taket. Examensarbetet består av två delar. I ett större urbant perspektiv undersöks- och kartläggs Stockholms platta tak. Det resulterar i en katalog, som blir ett verktyg och hjälpmedel för bostadsmarknaden. I ett mindre perspektiv undersöks det delade boendet och avslutas i bostäder på ett valt platt tak. Här utmanas det traditionella sättet att bo delat på. Syftet med examensarbetet är att väcka tankar och funderingar samt skapa diskussion för hur framtidens bostadsmarknad kan se ut och hur ett normbrytande boende kan vara. (Less)

- Housing in big cities has become a luxury that many people cannot afford, while a few make a lot of money out of the situation. As the housing market stands today, with profit-driven construction companies and expensive land, the problem cannot be solved without change (Länsstyrelsen 2021). The starting point is to find a different place to build than the traditional, and to build without involving construction companies. - Housing in big cities has become a luxury that many people cannot afford, while a few make a lot of money out of the situation. As the housing market stands today, with profit-driven construction companies and expensive land, the problem cannot be solved without change (Länsstyrelsen 2021). This thesis seeks an alternative way of living, where the residents together take control of their housing situation. The starting point is to find a different place to build than the traditional, and to build without involving construction companies. A housing market on the flat roofs of Stockholm is taking shape: Delat På Taket. The homes here are built through housing communities. The thesis consists of two parts. In a larger urban perspective, Stockholm’s flat roofs are investigated and mapped. It results in a catalogue, which becomes a tool for the new housing market. In a smaller perspective, the concept of shared housing is investigated and ends up in dwellings on a chosen flat roof. Here the traditional way of shared living is challenged. The aim of the thesis is to raise thoughts and create a discussion for what the future housing market can look like and how a norm-breaking household can be created. (Less)
