This study investigates the impact of industrial growth on housing affordability in Skellefteå, Sweden, utilizing a combination of quantitative and qualitative data sources. The analysis encompasses data from Statistics Sweden, interviews, and surveys to explore the complex relationship between industrial expansion, population dynamics, and housing affordability. The findings reveal a substantial increase in the population of Skellefteå attributed to industrial expansion, leading to heightened pressure on the housing market and significant challenges in accessing affordable housing.
