The empirical data used in the study has been collected through purposive sampling where we have specifically searched for policy documents and guidebooks regarding men's violence against women from our four chosen countries. Results have shown that representation of the ‘problem’ of men's violence against women varies between countries. This in turn influences the effect of representation and the measures suggested in the policy documents and handbooks to prevent violence. (Less)
