Forskningsfråga: Hur kan marknadsföringsarbetet formas av plats och hur lämpar sig olika arbetsuppgifter beroende på plats?
Syfte: Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur marknadsförarens plats influerar formandet och utförandet av marknadsföringsarbete för att identifiera vilka arbetsuppgifter som lämpar sig bäst på olika platser. Studien ämnar även att bidra med ökad förståelse om marknadsföringsarbetets plats genom bidrag med nya koncept och i form av en förklaringsmodell.
Metod: Studien har antagit en kvalitativ metod genom tio semistrukturerade intervjuer med marknadsförare och antar en abduktiv ansats.
Teoretiska perspektiv: För att besvara frågeställningen har studien använd ett teoretiskt ramverk innefattande den symbol interaktionistiska betydelsen för plats, kunskap, kreativitet, Work Life Balance och psykologisk säkerhet.
Resultat: Genom analys av det empiriska materialet formuleras förklaringsmodellen Markandsföringsarbetets plats-modell och konceptbidrag konkret, abstrakt och kontinuumerat marknadsföringsarbete.
Slutsats: Den fysiska platsen fyller en central funktion för marknadsföringsarbetet. (Less) - Abstract

Research Question: How can marketing work be shaped by location and how are different tasks suited to different locations?
Purpose of Study: The purpose of this study is to investigate how the marketer's location influences the construction and execution of marketing tasks to identify which tasks are best suited for different locations. The study also aims to contribute to a deeper understanding of the role of location in marketing work through establishing new concepts and creating an explanatory model.
Methodology: The study has adopted a qualitative method through ten semi-structured interviews with marketers and employs an abductive approach.
Theoretical perspectives: To address the research question, the study has applied a theoretical framework encompassing the Symbolic Interactionist significance of Place, Knowledge, Creativity, Work Life Balance, and Psychological Safety.
Result: Through analysis of the empirical material, the explanatory model The Location of Marketing Work Model is formulated, along with the concept development of Concrete, Abstract and Continuum marketing work.
Conclusions: The physical location plays a central role in marketing work. (Less)
