- Den ökade förekomsten av extremväder, temperaturförändringar och översvämningar belyser behovet för svenska kommuner att bygga upp sin motståndskraft. Klimatförändringarna är en av vår tids mest brådskande utmaningar och Sveriges kommuner besitter ett ansvar att anpassa våra städer till klimatförändringarnas konsekvenser. Uppsatsen ämnar att undersöka svenska kommuners övergripande klimatanpassningsarbete, med fokus på naturbaserade lösningar som en klimatanpassningsåtgärd i den urbana miljön. Uppsatsen lyfter den viktiga roll som kommunerna besitter i klimatanpassningsarbetet genom sin fysiska planering. Klimatförändringarna är en av vår tids mest brådskande utmaningar och Sveriges kommuner besitter ett ansvar att anpassa våra städer till klimatförändringarnas konsekvenser. Uppsatsen ämnar att undersöka svenska kommuners övergripande klimatanpassningsarbete, med fokus på naturbaserade lösningar som en klimatanpassningsåtgärd i den urbana miljön. Uppsatsen lyfter den viktiga roll som kommunerna besitter i klimatanpassningsarbetet genom sin fysiska planering. Arbetet kommer vidare att undersöka förändringsarbete inom hållbar utveckling där ett analytiskt ramverk presenteras. Det analytiska ramverket delar in förändringsarbetet i tre sfärer och används för att belysa behovet av förändring och utveckling på olika nivåer. Ramverket används för att förstå de förändringar som behöver göras inom hållbar utveckling för att naturbaserade lösningar skall utvecklas. Litteraturen, tillsammans med det analytiska ramverket, används således för att förstå hur naturbaserade lösningar i sig kan skapa och bidra till förändringar inom området hållbar utveckling. (Less)
