- Abstract (Swedish)
- Adoption of people analytics (PA) tools in human resources (HR) remains limited, despite increasing efforts to democratize data across organizations. This thesis examined how three change management facilitators, namely leadership support, training programs, and “What’s In It For Me” campaigns, relate to HR professionals’ use of PA dashboards. Using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) as a framework, the study examined whether these strategies influence perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use, and whether these perceptions predict self-reported usage of PA dashboards. Data was collected through a cross-sectional survey of 106 HR professionals (72.6% women, 26.4% men, and 0.9% who preferred not to disclose their gender) working in... (More)

Data was collected through a cross-sectional survey of 106 HR professionals (72.6% women, 26.4% men, and 0.9% who preferred not to disclose their gender) working in varied organizational settings. Multiple regression and mediation analyses were used to test the proposed relationships. Although perceived usefulness and ease of use did not mediate the relationships between the three facilitators and PA dashboard usage, two of the facilitators (leadership support and training programs) were directly and positively associated with usage. These findings suggest that in more mature implementation contexts, the role of traditional TAM variables may be limited, and practical support strategies like leadership involvement and training may be more important in encouraging regular use of PA dashboards.
