Norms, Interests or Both? Swedish Business Engagement in Ukraine’s Post-War Reconstruction

Abstract
The Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022 brought an immense destruction to the latter. Hence, the issue of post-war reconstruction is placed in the development agenda. At the same time, the Government of Sweden has stated its commitment to support the post-war efforts in Ukraine, and its interest to involve the private sector in the process. Thus, the justification of the Swedish state representatives to engage business in the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine is examined in this qualitative research.
