Ordbetoning och ordbetydelse i rumänska.

- The book is divided into three parts. All three parts dealwith the Romanian word. Part A: Word stress has not been defined in one rule before. I show how one rule can be applied to nouns, verbs and countnouns of Romanian. The principal method is taken from lexical phonology. Part B: Part A gave me the idea to investigate phonological length in the forms of infinitive, 3sg imperfect and perfect. An experiment was performed and the hypothesis proved. Part C: Word meaning of oral communication verbs in Romanian is what part C deals with. Among other things I show that a communication verb is in a subordinat position to a speech act verb. Denna avhandling är en dokumentation av mina undersökningar av det rumänska ordet. Jag har som allmänlingvist undersökt några aspekter av det rumänska ordet fonologiskt, fonetiskt och semantiskt. Det finns också mycket skrivet om morfologin i rumänska. Man är väl medveten om att en del suffix tar betoning och andra inte. Men ingen har utnyttjat denna kunskap för att systematiskt undersöka hur morfologin och betoningen hänger ihop på ordnivå. Detta redogör jag för i del A.
