The achievement of the analyze is twofold. First, behind the outspoken conceptions that render masculine sexual expression as something active, autonomous and unquelled, a gendered binary of univocal/ambiguous can be discerned. A binary that more aptly depicts the rectifying of head/body discrepancy that characterizes masculinity and the articulation of the female body that sexes women. Second, the idea that rape would entail a sense of that ”something is lost” is rejected as it witness of a conception of rape that fails to represent womens' experiences. Instead, new methods to acknowledge experiences of rape or within the gray area are discussed and elaborated. (Less)
