- Abstract
- This report is written in cooperation with Brandkonsulten AB in order to develop a user-friendly, flexible and repeatable method for vulnerability analysis to be used in the upcoming hospital Nya Karolinska Solna, NKS.
The first steps in the method is to identify parts in the system that is important to preserve, define central functions for these parts, and make up a list of possible undesired events that may lead to a failure in a specific function. One part that is important to preserve, one central function and one undesired event is called a scenario in SAKS. On that basis, the vulnerability of each scenario can be valued. This tool will serve to discuss the level of vulnerability in the hospital and results in a distinct document... This tool will serve to discuss the level of vulnerability in the hospital and results in a distinct document to simplify decision making in order to reduce the vulnerability in the system.
No special skills are required for those using the analysis tool, but the project manager who supervises the work, should have a basic knowledge of risk and vulnerability analysis. (Less)
