- Denna studie har till syfte att undersöka hur rytmiken kan berika den kyrkliga verksamheten samt att kartlägga hur rytmikverksamheterna ser ut i fyra olika församlingar i Sverige. I teorikapitlet presenteras tidigare forskning och litteratur om Svenska Kyrkan som institution, musikens och dansens roll i kyrkan, rytmik, handlingsutrymme, samt Vygotskijs teorier om delaktighetens betydelse för barns utveckling. Detta för att ge läsaren en större inblick i de faktorer som spelar roll för möjligheterna att arbeta med rytmik i kyrkan, men också för att styrka de resultat som framgår i studien. I teorikapitlet presenteras tidigare forskning och litteratur om Svenska Kyrkan som institution, musikens och dansens roll i kyrkan, rytmik, handlingsutrymme, samt Vygotskijs teorier om delaktighetens betydelse för barns utveckling. Detta för att ge läsaren en större inblick i de faktorer som spelar roll för möjligheterna att arbeta med rytmik i kyrkan, men också för att styrka de resultat som framgår i studien. Studien har genomförts i ett kvalitativt forskningsperspektiv då utgångspunkterna för att nå studiens slutsatser förutsatte detta arbetssätt. Fyra intervjuer har genomförts med personer anställda inom Svenska Kyrkan och som arbetar med rytmikmetoden i sina respektive församlingar. Informanternas erfarenheter, reflektioner och visioner kring rytmikens roll och betydelse i kyrkan utgör en central del av studien. Studien visar på att det finns ett stort intresse för rytmik i kyrkan. När rytmikverksamheter har bedrivits hos informanterna, så har kyrkobesökarna blivit fler och engagemanget större. rytmikverksamheterna har öppnat upp för möjligheter att utvecklas musikaliskt, socialt, kommunikativt och för små barn och äldre människor även motoriskt.
I diskussionsdelen presenteras de slutsatser som, med stöd från teoridelen, pekar på utvecklingsmöjligheterna som rytmiken kan bidra med för olika parter inom Svenska Kyrkan. Här reflekteras även kring de utmaningar som kyrkan ställs inför i arbetet att möta människor. Av dessa utmaningar menas användandet av olika uttrycksspråk begripliga för dagens människor och hur man med hjälp av rytmikpedagoger kan utveckla dessa ”språk” och skapa mötesplatser. The purpose of this essay is to investigate how eurhythmics can enrich the activities in the work of the Church of Sweden and to study the eurhythmics activities in four different church communities. In the theory chapter, previous research and literature are presented. Further the structure of the Church of Sweden, the role of music and dance in church, eurhythmics, discretionary power, and Vygotskijs’ thesis of the crucial role of participation in children’s development are reviewed. The purpose of this essay is to investigate how eurhythmics can enrich the activities in the work of the Church of Sweden and to study the eurhythmics activities in four different church communities. In the theory chapter, previous research and literature are presented. Further the structure of the Church of Sweden, the role of music and dance in church, eurhythmics, discretionary power, and Vygotskijs’ thesis of the crucial role of participation in children’s development are reviewed. All these parts affect the possibility to work with eurhythmics in the Church’s activities and are used to validate the results of the essay. A qualitative research perspective has been used while the starting points of the study assumed this approach. Four interviews with persons active with Eurhythmics in, and employed by, the Church of Sweden, were made. The central part of the study consists of the informants’ experiences, reflections and visions of the significance and importance of eurhythmics in church work. The study shows a keen interest among eurhythmics activities in church. When eurhythmics has been included in the church work, the result has been more churchgoers and greater commitment. Through eurhythmics activities, the participants have been given possibilities to develop themselves musically, socially, communicative and motorical (small children and elder people mainly). In the discussion, the conclusions of the study are presented with support from the theoretical part, and show the eurhythmics potential to develop various parties in the Church of Sweden. It is also reflected on the churches’ challenges to use different languages available for contemporary people. When collaborating with Eurhythmic pedagogues these “languages” can be evolved to create venues. (Less)
