- Today we are facing a big range of possibilities that may contribute to a sustainable development. The majority of the world’s populations are presumably trying to make the world a better place, but there is no agreement as to how this is to be achieved. Social entrepreneurship is often said to be a hybrid between business and activism. I would like to say that it’s a wide spectrum of actors but the essence is that a social entrepreneur is in an innovative way contributing to a sustainable development, without relying on a donor’s capital.
In this thesis my purpose is to scrutinize how this new actor, the social entrepreneur, is acting to contribute to a sustainable development and how this actor comprehend human rights impact of the work towards a sustainable development. (Less)
