Abstract
Measure and rhythm: What part do concepts of measure and rhythm play in a physical education teachers way of teaching?
The purpose of this study is to determine what part the measure and rhythm plays in a physical education teacher's way of teaching. To clarify the purpose of this study and describe physical education teachers' perception, the following research questions are processed: How do the physical education teachers view measure and rhythm in their teaching? What perceive physical education teachers that they must teach according to the curriculum subject to measure and rhythm? How do the physical education teachers evaluate how students adapt to the measure, rhythm and context? How do physical education teachers experience that... (More)

These issues process what part measures and rhythm play in physical education teachers' teaching from multiple angles such as measure and rhythm in physical education teachers' education, curriculum, the concepts of measure and rhythm, assessment and the content of teaching from these perspectives. The method used is qualitative interviews with five physical education teachers in junior high school. The results show that the respondents are reluctant to tell what is meant by the concepts of measure and rhythm. Thus, they are not fully aware of what the grade assessment situation should look like. In the National Agency for Education assessments support these words are not defined or explained. (Less)
Abstract (Swedish)
(More)

(Less)
