- Abstract
- The objective for this master thesis has been to develop a mathematical model of
the actuator parts of the fifth generation Haldex AWD system. The parts to be
modeled are the DC-Machine and the pump. Also a model of the elasticity of the
clutch has to be derived as well as a model for the hydraulic fluid. These models were then to be implemented in Matlab Simulink.
The model was derived by means of standard modeling. That is, by studies of the
mechanical subparts, use of equilibrium equations and their relations to each other.
To evaluate the model the simulated flow of the pump, the viscosity of the fluid and pressure of the pump was compared to results measured on the actual hardware.
These comparisons showed that the model is a... (More) - The objective for this master thesis has been to develop a mathematical model of

To evaluate the model the simulated flow of the pump, the viscosity of the fluid and pressure of the pump was compared to results measured on the actual hardware.
These comparisons showed that the model is a good approximation of the actual hardware. (Less)
