Focusing on the Millennial Generation, the following two research questions guide this research:
- What Feedback Characteristics are Millennials looking for?
- How does a 360-degree feedback platform impact the retention of Millennials?

Methodology:
To address the explored phenomenon, this study follows an abductive grounded theory inspired research approach, based on a qualitative single case study, drawing upon 10 semi-structured interviews with members of our target group, conducted at an organization of interest.

Theoretical Background:
The theoretical framework of this study thoroughly outlines extant academic literature on the concepts of feedback and retention and presents and critically reviews widely debated generational stereotypes, describing Millennial attitudes and expectations towards the workplace.

Contribution: This study contributes to existing research by investigating Millennials’ expectations towards feedback by identifying several internal drivers that motivate Millennials to receive and provide feedback, distinct characteristics of the desired feedback as well as certain influential factors on the effectiveness of feedback, as a means to explore the potential impact of a 360-degree feedback platform on the retention of this generation.
