This chapter explores the ways and channels through which Turkey-based political parties respond to non-resident citizens through external voting. It firstly provides a brief history of the legislation regulating external voting rights in Turkey. It then examines the representation of non-resident votes in the Turkish electoral system and in the Turkish Parliament.
