Analysis, Findings and Conclusions

Charles, Edquist LU ; Hommen, Leif LU and Tsipouri, Lena (2000) p.281-299
Abstract
n the Overview beginning Part II of this book, we discussed our selection of cases in relation to theory, concepts, and policies. We also discussed making analytical generalisations from a theoretically based sample of comparable cases. Now, after reviewing relevant theoretical, conceptual and policy issues in Part I of this book, and presenting a series of empirical case studies in Part II, we turn to a comparative analysis of the case studies. As discussed in our Introduction, our analysis is theoretically informed, and its object is to produce analytical generalisations. These will later provide the basis for developing policy implications.
