Participants were asked to tell their psychotherapy story, while mentioning what was the most important in the process of their psychotherapy. The processing of data was based on the principles of thematic analysis. The analysis of psychotherapeutic stories revealed the importance of anger experience, expression and change in psychotherapy. Reflecting on their subjective experience, participants mentioned better differentiation of anger reactions, reduction in anger intensity, wider possibilities for anger regulation. Respondents related these changes to the possibilities of experiencing, reflecting and expressing anger in psychotherapy. The reconstruction and analysis of psychotherapeutic story could be used as one of the methods in the exploration of anger expression and transformation in psychotherapy. (Less)
