Results: Our results indicate that a considerable part of the participating school psychologists experience high work demands and have trouble finding work-life balance. In general, however, school psychologists in Sweden experience high work engagement. The results also indicate that school psychologists in Sweden experience a lack of role clarity in their professional role.
Conclusions: Our findings validate a model that underlines the importance of role clarity for school psychologists work engagement.
