Abstract
As artificial intelligence (AI) becomes a critical pillar of industrial competitiveness and national strategy, Sweden is pursuing a sovereign AI approach through the establishment of Sferical AI, a joint venture involving leading companies such as AstraZeneca, Ericsson, Saab, SEB, Wallenberg Investments, and SKF. The initiative aims to reduce reliance on foreign cloud providers and build world-class AI computing capabilities under Swedish control, reflecting growing concerns over data sovereignty, supply chain resilience, and strategic autonomy.......
