Abstract
Computer-based design analysis activities are an essential part of most product development projects in industry. An effective integration of the analysis activity into the product development process, especially when the design analysis is performed not by the engineering designer but by an analyst, internal or external to the company, is therefore very valuable. Computer-based design analysis activities are an essential part of most product development projects in industry.
