Verification of radome problems - Part II
(2020) In Technical Report LUTEDX/(TEAT-7270)/1-26/(2020)- Abstract
- In this paper we analyse the transmission of the electromagnetic field through a dielectric, spherical shell - a simple radome. The source is located inside the shell and consists of a vertical or horizontal electric dipole or a simple array of electric dipoles. A circular PEC (perfect electric conductor) disk is located at the center of the shell and simulates a ground plane. The effect of the shell and the ground plane is illustrated by several numerical examples.
