När togs lundakanikernas Consuetudines egentligen i bruk. Reflektioner kring texttradering och traditionsförmedling i 1120-talets Lund [with a summary in English]
(2004) In Kyrkohistorisk årsskrift 104. p.11-22- Abstract
- On the origin, use and dating of the customary of the cathedral chapter of Lund, i.e. the Consuetudines Lundenses. I have argued that the consuetudines were used by the canons from 30 June 1123 at the latest, the day of inauguration of the crypt church. This seems even more plausible as the prototype of the text, i.e. the Consuetudines Marbacenses, were recently antedated. Furthermore, these circumstances indicate that there were close contacts between Lund and the continent, a situation where the archbishop and canons of Lund were quite well informed about contemporary ecclesiastical developments and customs, and were able to choose the kind of rule they whished to have.
