Abstract
Aurora Dumitrescu, author of two novels, Cagliostro and The Bipolar
(Tracus Arte Press, 2016). The Bipolar places its action in the contemporary world and applies not very different narrative techniques. The similarity in parallel readings shows that the Coelho model is obvious, but I would say
that Aurora Dumitrescu respects more her readers, as she stimulates their intelligence too. The only honorable book in the crowded panoply of Coelho's panoply was for me Veronika Is Getting Ready to Die. Otherwise, only diluted philosophies and motivational slogans for corporatists.
