Abstract
The aim of this report has been to perform a risk analysis of ABB Automation Products activity in building 358. The risk analysis consequences are expressed in economical terms and the measurement of the risk is presented as the expected annual cost due to fire. The model used is based on an event tree which describes what happens if a fire breaks out in the building. The effect of different fire prevention measures, such as sprinkler, fire compartments etc. is

modelled by using a combination of expert judgement and statistics. Since the scope of the risk analysis deals with the complete building, some relatively simple and partly unvalidated models have been used in order to make the analysis practicable.
