Satisfied basic psychological needs lead to autonomous motivation – long-term, self-sustaining motivation for voluntary behaviour change. Based on the theoretical propositions and empirical evidence in the environmental context, this chapter provides a hands-on guide to foster pro-environmental behaviour change in various contexts.
