The Future of Swedish and Danish Life Science 2020
- Abstract
- Connecting the complementary facilities MAX IV & ESS with DESY & European X-FEL creates synergy and a globally unique infrastructure region with fantastic opportunities for innovation and research not least in Life Science. Through Hanseatic League of Science (HALOS) the Life Science research and innovation ecosystems is given a joint platform to take advantage of the facilities and a tool-box is developed for access, cooperation and know-how on how to use the research infrastructures. The regional development work in HALOS promotes an integrated research environment developing common strengths and initiating joint strategies for cross-border cooperation.
