The study finds that CBMI benefits from holistic circular, community- and place-based strategies and objectives, resulting in ecosocial benefits. Through the CBMI lens, the study offers novel insights into how small enterprises operate in a rural context. The knowledge generated is valuable to researchers and educators seeking to understand CBMI, and to practitioners who aim to implement circular business models (CBM) in small enterprises. (Less)
