Specifically, this scoping review will report on subjective instruments used to measure physical activity and sedentary behavior and that distinguish between physical activity performance and physical activity capability.Methods:This scoping review will be conducted in accordance with the JBI methodology for scoping reviews and will search the following databases: MEDLINE, CINAHL, Web of Science, Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, JBI Evidence Synthesis, Embase, and PEDro, as well as specific journals relating to physical activity assessment.
